This site is a tribute to Constance Bartholomew. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
The time has sadly come for us all to reflect on our wonderful mum, wife, sister, daughter and friend, Constance. It is with sorrow and a heavy heart that we share the news of Constance's passing on 27 February 2025.
Constance was truly amazing - she was kind, thoughtful and strong, right through to the end.
It's hard to accept that mum has gone, but we are comforted knowing she has joined her brother, Michael (RIP), and her father, Aston (RIP).
Please help grow Constance's Tribute by adding messages or memories you'd like to share.
Mum was cared for at home with external support delivered by her wonderful carers and St Christopher's Hospice. We were also supported by PSPA.
We would like to thank St Christopher's Hospice who supported us on our journey. We often referred to it as the 'Wellness Centre'.
The staff helped mum immensely by providing both mum and dad with support on this difficult and challenging journey. Without this team of dedicated professionals we may not have come this far.
PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to creating a better future for people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). Constance had a diagnosis of PSPA.
It would mean a lot to us if you could contribute to these organisations so that they can continue the important work they do.
Thank you,
Dennis, Diane and Dean

Dear all, The Nine-Nights held on the evening of Friday, 7th March to celebrate the life of Constance was a wonderful event. Along with the assistance given to the family; the kind messages of support & condolences; the desserts made for the celebration and the work done on the night. While there was some weeping, a little wailing and a bit of crying allowing everyone to give vent to their emotions, even more wonderful was the joy expressed in the celebration of Constance's life through laughter, dancing, traditional & Christian prayers and enjoyment of the food & drink. A collection from the evening raised over £760, which has been split between St Christophers and the PSP Association. Special thanks to JW, N AND THE BOYS, J&J, C, N & T, KR, LAND FAMILY plus anonymous donations. Thank you all so much.
Your support for Constance and Dennis cannot be valued in money. THANK YOU.
I am so sorry to hear about Constance’s passing. In my culture, on the passing of a person we loved, we wish all family and friends a long and healthy life.
